OCTOBER:

10/19 – 10/24 : “I <3 Consent” Week, sponsored by Rice’s Women’s Resource Center. Check out a whole slew of great events on the WRC page. Consent is sexy. 

10/28, 7PM: Join Open in the Kelley Lounge in the RMC for a screening of “The Education of Shelby Knox”, a documentary about a Texas teen’s crusade for comprehensive sex education in her state. Refreshments provided. Sponsored by Campus Progress. 

NOVEMBER:

11/9,  7 PM: Submission deadline for the first Open student art contest!

11/16 – 11/30 : Contest submissions will be on display with past Open favorites @ Farnsworth Pavilion. See RMC hours for details on viewing times. 

11/20 : Open is hosting a reception @ Farnsworth to announce contest winners and to celebrate the work of the contest participants. Refreshments will be provided.
